My Favorite Restaurants In The City

Since indoor dining in NYC is officially opening back up on September 30th, I encourage you to visit one of these restaurants in the city.

Ooki Sushi​ is located in the Upper East Side. My friends and I have gone there quite a few times. We love it so much because their lunch special is simply unbeatable! For just $10, you can have an entree salad, miso soup, and your choice of meat or tofu with rice and veggies. The portions are very generous, I was never able to finish all my food. Beware, the lunch special goes from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. It’s affordable and delicious, 10/10 would recommend visiting Ooki!

The Greek Kitchen​ is located on the Lower West Side. They have amazing outdoor seating and very good service. It’s a small business and it is also run by a greek family. The Greek Kitchen is a great place to venture out and try greek foods. All their soups are priced at $6, it’s affordable and tasty. If you go, I recommend you try the yogurt with walnut and honey dessert. That dessert might just be one of the best I’ve ever had here (and I live in New York City.)

Laduree​ is located in Soho. This restaurant has a high price point, so I don’t go as often as I’d like to. It’s a beautifully designed brunch place with a big outside seating terrace. They are known for their macaroons and the original Laduree is located in Paris. People usually dress up to dine here and the service is impeccable. My favorite dish is the Eggs Benedict.

Cacio e Pepe​ is located in the East Village. This restaurant is fairly small, but they have a beautiful garden with outdoor seating. This place has a bit of a higher price point than Ooki Sushi or the Greek Kitchen, but their food is delicious. The menu is mainly pasta which is what they focus on. Pasta is also my favorite food, so I frequently visit this place. My favorite dish is the homage gnocchi with tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella.
